History

History

Cosmo’s Martial Art Center was founded by Master Cosmo Yi. Master Cosmo Yi is a 6th Degree Black Belt and holds multiple credentials. He was a Korean-American Demonstration Team member and was a U.S.A Team Coach against Mexico. He also trained several national level sparring athletes under his guidance and was also the Korean-American Olympic Team Coach. Master Cosmo’s experience stems back from 1999 when he operated Yi’s Taekwondo Center as the owner from 1999-2005. Above all, Master Cosmo has been certified by the Board of Education to teach Taekwondo programs in public schools and has taught in P.S 175 located in the Bronx County.
